Hi, I’m Sam.
I’ve been in the mortgage industry since 2001, and during that time have worked for lenders as well as giving advice. I know the market inside out! I have access to the whole of the market, which means I can get you deals that aren’t available on the high street.
Most clients come to me from recommendation and having built up a network of happy clients, I decided it was time to strike out on my own and do things my own way within a compliant environment and so I launched Straightforward Mortgage Advice Solutions in January 2017. I am passionate about what I do and deliver my service with pride, persistence and charm, and always with my clients’ best interests at heart.
Away from work, I am mum to 3 Shar-Pei dogs and help my partner, Andy, with the running of our pub. Oh and not forgetting the Psychology degree I’m studying towards too! Clients have the choice of me coming to see them at home or the office or coming along to our pub in Dormansland where a warm welcome will be waiting.

Hi, I’m Shirley.
Having spent 20 plus years of my working career in the housing market, I thrive on reducing the pain and stress associated with the house buying process. I have a genuine interest in property, which paved the way to transition my job role to Mortgage and Protection Adviser in 2016.
My vast property experience has provided an excellent background knowledge to appreciate what is really important to my clients when purchasing a property and I absolutely love offering mortgage advice. Whether it be for a first home purchase, an advance to a larger home or to fund home improvements I will offer professional yet friendly and understandable advice on various mortgage scenarios.
When I am not working, I am busy spending time with my husband and our five children. In my spare time I love running, although my knees often remind me that my marathon days are over - however I still enjoy an early Saturday morning Parkrun. Horses have always been my passion, I think they are strong, beautiful and genuine creatures....my last outing being a thrilling hack around the beautiful Great Windsor Park. As a treat I adore a night out at the theatre!
